The format for “Non Comp Training” is:
* Courses designed over a maximum of 12 obstacles
* Riders list their rides on the chalkboard with the knowledge of the marshall
* Riders commence the course and after completion of the 12 obstacles, they then leave the arena and the next rider commences the course
* Riders will be called into the arena when the previous rider is nearing the finish of their round. If the horse is listed for two rounds at the same height, they can re-enter the arena as agreed with the marshal and as listed on the chalkboard.
* Jumping the same line - or a single fence more than once in one round - is NOT permitted.
* The Organising Committee is aware that on the day riders/horses, if they are experiencing difficulties at one height, may wish to move to a lower height [or to a greater height]. This can be done by advising the marshals in the relevant rings of this change. In the effort to accommodate as many riders as possible we CANNOT accept additional rounds on the day.
* Horses are limited to two [2] rounds in a day; these can be at the same or concurrent heights.
* Course heights will range from 55cm to 1.40m and are approximate.
* Dress: For Training Days, polo shirts and darker coloured breeches may be worn.
* It is not a competition day; there are no judges, the rounds are not timed and no placings or prizemoney will be offered.
