Description

SSJC requires PRE ENTRY and immediate payment

Course walk @ 8:00am; first horse on course @ 8:30am.

All riders must adhere to all COVID-19 requiements as per the SSJC plan for October 3, 2021.

Enter each round you wish to train over; maximum of three (3) rounds per horse.

* IMPORTANT * It is complusory that all riders attending SSJC wear an APPROVED helmet at all times whilst mounted. For more information, refer to the Equestrian Australia website - http://www.equestrian.org.au/news/helmet-regulations-updated

The format for “Non Comp Training” is:

· Courses designed over a maximum of 12 obstacles

· Riders list their rides on the chalk-board with the knowledge of the marshal.

· Riders commence the course and after completion of the 12 obstacles, they then leave the arena and the next rider commences the course.

· Riders will be called into the arena when the previous rider is nearing the finish of their round. If the horse is listed for two or three rounds at the same height, they can re-enter the arena as agreed with the marshal and as listed on the chalk-board.

· The Committee is aware that on the day riders/horses, if they are experiencing difficulties at one height, may wish to move to a lower height [or to a greater height]. This can be done by advising the marshals in the relevant rings of this change. In the effort to accommodate as many riders as possible we CANNOT accept additional rounds on the day.

· Horses are limited to three [3] rounds in a day; these can be at the same or concurrent heights.

· Course heights will continue to range from 55cm to 1.40m

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. All entrants must be current members of SSJC for 2021

2. All entrants enter via Global into the height(s) desired. You must enter the horse details FOR EACH OF UP TO THREE ROUNDS you intend entering. That is, if you intend doing two rounds at 1.10m and one at 1.20m, then the horse must be entered twice in the 1.10 and once in the 1.20 classes.

3. The cost will be $15 per horse /per round

4. Enter the horse and rider details only into the desired height/s

5. The classes will be limited to a maximum number of rounds in each arena on the day (eg Arena 2 – maximum of 150 rounds on a day, with 65 @ 1.10m, 50 @ 1.20m & 35 @ 1.30m). There will be the ability to move a horse from one height to another on the day, but no additional rounds will be accepted.

6. Only two horses should be in the arena at any one time.

7. The maximum number of horses in each ring will be strictly adhered to

8. Horses can only enter three times on a day (eg 3 x 1.10m OR 2 x 1.10m + 1 x 1.20m).

9. It is not a competition day; there are no judges, the rounds are not timed and no placings or prizemoney will be offered.

10. All fence heights are approximate to the advertised height.

11. Entry to an arena is by “chalk board order” and is controlled by the arena marshal.

12. If you entered to do two or three rounds at one height you must inform the arena marshal at the time that your name is put onto the chalkboard. The marshal will then arrange for you to place the second and third rounds on the chalk-board with 4/5 horses between rounds

13. Please be considerate of other riders waiting to jump and vacate the course for the next rider promptly.

14. Please be prepared to start your round immediately after the rider on course has completed their round.

15. Jumping the same line - or a single fence more than ONCE in one round - is NOT permitted.

16. You must vacate the arena when requested by the marshal.

EA Code of Conduct for jumping warm up arenas applies at all times.

The Organising Committee reserves the right, at their absolute discretion, to accept or refuse any entry.
