CRC Membership MUST be completed PRIOR to attending Training Days. ALL riders (anyone who gets on a horse, jumping or not) must be a current financial member of the Caramut Riding Club.
9am - 2 courses are set by our EA accredited coursebuilders, help is required by participants to help build courses. Each course increasing in height throughout the day. Please arrive in time to assist our coursebuilders or make yourself available to assist packing up at the end of the day.
Ring 1 (Grass) starting at 80cm, 90cm, 100cm, 110cm 120cm+, Ring 2 starting at x-rails, 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm. If you wish to start jumping at 80cm or x-rails, please ensure you arrive on time.
There is no formal instruction on the day and it is at the rider/parent/guardian discretion as to the heights you participate in.
These days are designed to be low stress enjoyable days for competitors of all standards to improve their skills and gain confidence jumping full courses prior to the competition season.
There are a lot of young/green horses in attendance at these days, so please be aware and for rider safety, do not ride directly at or up behind horses. Parents, please supervise young children on ponies and children around the grounds so they do not unnecessarily upset or spook young horses.
There is a round yard available for use at the grounds, we encourage members to use it should your horse or pony be a bit fresh and for everyone’s safety, benefit from a quick lunge!
Depending on numbers in attendance, rounds may be capped at 3 per height per combination
$5 per horse footfall fee to Hexham Recreation Reserve Committee of Management to be paid with your registration (under extra charges/sub charge)
